Unveiling Our New Brand Identity
Thank you for your interest in our new identity at Atoll Solutions. Almost 5 years into our pivot from a hardware focus to a platform approach, we are making an impressive impact with our Kinesis platform, and we are updating our brand identity and visuals. So, from today, you will only see new Atoll everywhere.
It has been an exciting journey in building the platform and the support from our early customers has been incredible. With the perseverance of the three musketeers Jithu, Sumit, and Padma, Atoll has built a robust and reliable platform for Location Visibility that is ideally suited to address the needs of the Indoor Positioning System (IPS) and Real Time Location System (RTLS) markets.
The Story Behind Our Brand Identity
Our name itself, “Atoll,” draws inspiration from the remarkable natural formations found in the ocean. These atolls, while appearing as individual islands above the surface, are all interconnected beneath the water by a hidden network of coral reefs.
This network of interconnected islands perfectly embodies the core mission that drives Atoll Solutions. Just like the atoll, we see the world as a network of interconnected individuals working together towards shared goals. And our mission is to empower those goals with ubiquitous Location Visibility.
This brand identity isn’t just about a name; it’s a reflection of our deep-rooted belief in the power of connections and partnerships. It signifies our dedication to fostering a strong network and building seamless connections with our customers and partners.
New Branding Visuals
So, as we decided to redesign our brand identity, we were looking for something that matched the current market energy and taste of design and also derived from our old visual identity.
Story Behind New Logo
It started back in September 2023, when we decided to redesign our brand identity. We all came up with a lot of ideas about how our brand should look. After numerous good suggestions, we were still looking to create something that resembled our work as well as showed continuity with the current logo. With 2 months of iterations, meetings, and whiteboard sessions, we are finally feeling good about the story that has emerged!
Meaning of new logo
We are using a circular ring from our previous logo, placing a location pin icon in the center along with three dots that show the ‘things’ we connect. If you look from the negative space in the logo icon, you will be able to see the network symbol as well.
Color and Typography
As we are inspired by the sea/ocean so we decided to go with the flow. The flow, flow of water. Our two colors are inspired by the sea and water named Atoll Blue and Atoll Sea.
Coming to the type and font face, we have used the DM Sans font to keep the similarity throughout each brand item. From brand logo to website, we have tried our best to keep things similar.
